How do you compile your data?
The V12 Group compiled database is built from a variety of sources including online and offline publishers, public records, survey data and modeled data. All postal data is double or triple verified and email addresses are verified by proprietary software and random testing.

What is V12 List Selector?
V12 List Selector is a web-accessible system to count and extract email, postal and telemarketing lists from V12 Group’s 185+ million record US consumer database which meet user-specified geographic, demographic, lifestyle and interest selection criteria.

Is there a minimum order?
Yes, the minimum charge per order is $75.00.

Is there a maximum order?
Yes, the maximum count per order is 500,000 for automatic download. Larger requests can be handled in a manuel environment - just place the order and V12 customer service will fulfill and ship your order.

Can I buy a list online?
Sure you can! You can use V12 List Selector's simple online fulfillment system to select, receive and purchase consumer lists in minutes. Click on Create List to start your marketing campaign.

How soon can I receive my list once I've placed the order?
The turnaround time will vary depending on the delivery method that is selected upon checkout. The online media delivery time is a few seconds to a couple of minutes depending on the size of the output. For hard media delivery the time will vary based on the shipping method.

I'm not an expert on creating a list, who can I call to assist me?

What are the steps to placing an order?
1. Create your list by selecting various data elements (states, Zip, etc.)
2. Select Get Count to view your quantity
3. Then Select Add to Cart
4. Select an output package
5. Purchase the List

I am doing a telemarketing campaign and I only want records that have a phone number. How can I make sure my list only has records that I can call?
Once you have created your list, the next step is to choose your package. The choices are Email, Direct Mail, and Telemarketing. By selecting the Telemarketing Package you will get only records where a phone number is available. The "Do Not Call" records will also be automatically suppressed.

What is the difference between the Direct Mail Package and the Telemarketing Package?
The Direct Mail package will not include a phone number for any of the Consumers on your list output. The Telemarketing Package will only output Consumers that have a phone number. If you would like both (i.e., all Consumers, regardless of containing a phone number or not), select the Direct Mail package and add the Consumer's phone # data element to the package.

My list is not large enough, how do I add additional records?
The best way to increase your quantity is to go back and expand your criteria. For example, if you have selected a radius search for a specific zip code try expanding the range (distance in miles) until you reach your desired quantity.

My list is too large, how can I narrow it down?
Upon checkout you can select the desired number of records you want on your list. The system will randomly select records and remove them from your list. Another alternative is to refine your query criteria to narrow the selection.

Sometimes I am getting a blank screen when windows appear within screens. Why is this happening?
To avoid this problem, please disable any pop-up blocker software you have installed on your PC.

I am unable to log on, what could be the problem?
Check to ensure cookies are enabled.

What is the cost of shipping a file?
The cost for V12 Group shipping is $25.00.

What if I want my extract at the household level?
Then it has to go into manual fulfillment.

When will the charge be applied to my credit card?
Charges will not be submitted to your credit card until the order has been fulfilled.

Do you do Do Not Call screening?
V12 takes great care to omit any records identified to us as do not call. At no time, however, does V12 Group represent or warrant that our file is DNC compliant. By agreeing to purchase access to telephone data from V12 Group, buyer understands and agrees that it is the responsibility of the enduser for all Do Not Call compliance, at all levels.

How does the and/or logic work in the system?
When choosing selectors from within a list, the system automatically puts "OR" logic between the selectors chosen so your results will include all the records that meet one criteria OR the other. For example, if you choose two states, NY and NJ, you will get all records that are either in NY or NJ. When choosing across selectors, the system automatically puts "AND" logic between the selectors, so you will get results only where both conditions are met. For example, if you chose NJ and income >50K, you will only get records that are in NJ where the income is >50K. Additional flexibility in "AND/OR" logic will be available in our next release.

Will my login-in session get timed out?
Every login session times out after 30 minutes, but you can re-login as often as you need to.

How can I change the order in which the fields are output?
After a user selects the Product/Package and hits "Next", the user is redirected to a new page where he/she can select additional fields for extarct. In this page, to the right hand side, the user can see the list of selected fields and "Up" and "Down" buttons beside that list. The user can select a field and use the "Up" or "Down" buttons to move the field in the output order. The order in the list is the order of the output file.

Why are my email order counts different after the order is fulfilled?
At the time when we process an order we delete emails with bad domains and potentially undeliverable emails, hardbounces and optouts. We also take only emails with age 18+ unless otherwise specified.
